50 Gifts under $50
Three of our most precious travel-sized treatments, in one exquisite box.
LL Bean Base Layers. They’re about $50 a piece, so $100 total, but I like them so much more than my skin tight base layers. They’re just a warm and twice as comfortable. During the winter I pretty much wear base layers (at least bottoms) every day and they’re by far my favorite.
Electric toothbrush. My dentist loves me.
Everyone needs a pair of warm slippers for themselves, for their guests for everyone.
A bidet. No more itchy, burney stinky butt. 80% reduction in toilet paper. Why did it take me so long to get one?
Your friends and family will love you if you get them a bidet. It will change their lives. You can add one to your current toilet for around $30-40 and you’ll wonder how you went through life without one. It’s not a game changer, it’s a life changer.
With my owala water bottle. I find myself drinking water more often with it.
Can these cute bags from LL Bean get any cuter!
For $50 you can make someone a pretty decent “gift box” full of all stuff they like (chocolate bars, cheeses etc) people I know do this for their friends, and also receive them from their friends, and everyone always seems very pleased with it
For the tea lovers and coffee lovers in your life. Gift them with a tea kettle. An electric kettle with temp control. I drink a lot of tea, and different kinds of tea need different temps of water. It boils water in 3-5 minutes (depending on how much water I put in), so much better than the stovetop kettle my roomie uses, and WAY better than trying to use a microwave. It’s also great for oatmeal, pasta, sous vide up to temp, basically for everything.
A weighted blanket (they vary in price depending on the type/size/material you get); it drastically improved my sleep and it works wonders for people with insomnia, depression, anxiety, and nightmares/terrors.
A butter dish/butter tray. Room temp butter always available. No more exhausting yourself with trying to spread hard butter out of the fridge.
I bought my parents this coffee grinder for their birthday and it has made their coffee worlds better. Your coffee experts will love a coffee grinder. Buying whole beans and grinding them yourself gives infinitely better coffee than buying pre-ground.
Crate and Barrel Baking Dishes
I cannot live without MY ROBE. I can’t believe people still live life without one of those things. Have roommates but don’t wanna put on pants? Robe. The shower leaving you cold after getting out? Robe. Just cold? Robe. And there’s even TOWEL robes so that you can dry without scratching up against your skin in case the soft ones seem counterproductive.
I now listen to several podcasts a day, I’ve learnt loads of new things and always have conversation topics to use
Love my waterpik. It has saved me thousands in dentist bills. No more excessive amounts of chewing gum, root canals & bleeding gums.
Crockpot. Start it in the morning and food is ready in the evening. Absolutely life changing for good meals in reasonable time.
I use my cast iron skillet almost everyday. I even cook pan pizza in it!
A sharp knife set is essential in any household.
A therapy light / lightbox. for the dark, grey winters (especially in the midwest) it makes a real difference in your mental health to sit in front of it while online or having a cup of coffee. It simulates sunlight and encourages vitamin D production. Definitely check one out!
I use my milk frother all the time and not just for milk. Sometimes I use it to mix up my refrigerated chicken broth before I add it to recipes. It is great for mixing up powdered drinks like hot cocoa and getting the milk and sugar perfectly blended into coffee.
I have to spend almost all day at the computer for college so it’s nice to go to bed without a headache or feeling like my eyes are burning.
I always say a dash cam is like a plunger, if you wait to buy one until you need it, its already too late. Having that extra insurance that if something happens you will have proof to cover yourself is everything. You also get to record some crazy stuff when driving around and be able to show it to your friends.
Fantastic piece of kit that makes great smoothies. Give the gift of health!
QUALITY water bottle or coffee cup such as a yeti or similar brand is always nice. Even with people working at home, your water stays cold or your coffee warm!
This one may not be fun, but it is essential. I’ve been making custom kits like these for Christmas for several years and they have come in handy to virtually everyone who has received them. If you don’t have some essentials in your vehicle already, you should.
I like gifting snack sets though. Either like, A movie night in a box: popcorn, chocolate, gummies, soda etc. Or more of a gourmet type set: fancier chocolates, nuts, dried fruit, jerky etc. Or i’ll do teas/coffee/hot cocoa, with cookies and maybe a mug.
Relaxing, easy to use and you get the satisfaction of creating a masterpiece at the end.
Personalized Anthropologie Mug
Board games? Could be a fun way to have a date night with your wife at home after the kids go to bed. Spend some time playing, talking and laughing together rather than the usual TV and phone scrolling we all usually do at night.
