I’m so excited to share my love for Sedona, Arizona with you! Sedona is one of my favorite cities to visit in the USA. As a frequent visitor, I’ve got the list of the best things to do in Sedona and unforgettable experiences that I can’t wait to share with you. Whether you’re a seasoned hiker, or just an adventurer at heart, Sedona has something to offer everyone.
Hike Devil’s Bridge Trail
I was simply amazed the first time I saw Devils Bridge. Devil’s Bridge Trail is a 4.5 mile round trip hike that leads you to a natural sandstone bridge perched precariously over a canyon. You can walk over the bridge and take a picture right above the arch.
The views are stunning, but be prepared for crowds, especially during peak season.I recommend you do this hike before noon as the sun is unforgiving. Bring your sunscreen and lots of water.
Pro Tip: Parking for Devil’s Bridge can fill up very early, so plan to arrive before sunrise or later in the evening to snag a spot
Get a Pre Hike Donut from Sedonuts
For my fellow donut lovers, you have to make a quick stop at Sedonuts. My personal favorite is their glazed donut. Their glaze is perfectly sweet and sticky, and the donut itself is light, fluffy, and melts in your mouth. They have got the most random flavors that you can think of.
Have an Incredible Stargazing Experience
Sedona is a designated International Dark Sky Community, which basically means light pollution is a dirty word here. This translates to some of the most incredible stargazing you’ll ever experience.
Prices start at $50. I recommend Sedona Nighttime Stargazing Tours for their knowledgeable guides and unforgettable stargazing experiences.
Watch a whimsical Sunset at Airport Mesa
I am a sucker for a sunset. I prefer taking a hike to watch the sunset rather than dinner and a sunset. My friend who lives in Sedona recommended a sunset hike at Airport Mesa. And it did not disappoint. To get more details on how to get there and extra tips check out One Girl, One World blog post!

Shop at Tlaquepaque Village
Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village is a charming village overflowing with galleries, shops, and fountains. Shop for handcrafted jewelry and souvenirs, and just have fun walking the cobblestone walkways. You could easily spend a couple hours here.
For my chai lovers…..you must go to The Chai Spot for their heavenly cup of Butter Chai Tea. Also try their awesome rose-water infused chai tea. You also get to sit on carpeted floors. It is a whole vibe.
And for my parking worry warts, there is ample free parking available.

Go on Pink Jeep Tour
While I don’t claim to be an adrenaline junkie, I love activities that get my adrenaline pumping..on occasion. So when my husband suggested we do a jeep tour, I was down. We went on the Broken Arrow Tour for our first time, and it was a great experience. But here are some other options as well.
Hike into Oak Creek Canyon for a Swim and Picnic
Take one of America’s most scenic drives on Highway 89A to Oak Creek Canyon. It was easily one of the most beautiful drives I’ve ever taken. Nature is in her full glory here. It was a very straightforward and easy to follow drive. The elevation changes are pretty cool – so be ready for that!

Visit Red Rock State Park
If your outdoorsy, definitely visit Red Rock State Park for beautiful vistas and some great hikes. The trails are peaceful, not hard, but the views are amazing. We saw so many rock formations that resembled other amazingly spectacular things. You can spend hours hiking the different trails. Found them all relatively easy to spend over 3 hours out there. There is also a nice gift shop with a hummingbird area and I was lucky enough to see them.
Small fee to get into the park, plenty of parking. Make sure you take water & a camera!
